Beglik Tash is a region located to the north of Primorsko in the area of governmental residence “Perla”. There are no signs indicating the place so it is difficult to find. To reach it you have to go in the direction of the north beach of Primorsko, take the road parallel to the beach, pass by a horse base. At the end of the beach the road turns north-west and enters in a broad-leaved forest. From there on you can follow the white pointers drawn on the road itself. You can easily notice them from the driver seat. There are several branches which you should bypass. The road turns several times and reaches a parking area. There is a dirt road from there to the Beglik Tash sanctuary whish goes for a kilometer. It is not in very good condition but is passable by trucks or four-wheel drive vehicles or you can choose to cover the distance on foot it takes about twenty minutes. The sanctuary coordinates according to GOOGLE EARTH are 42 18′ 41.10″ N, 27 46′ 01.51 E, 130 m. over the sea level.
PICTURES and DESCRIPTION of the SANCTUARY
Beglik Tash sanctuary is a megalithic complex situated over an even stony district. There can be easily differentiated several installations. I conditionally named them having in mind their outer appearance.
There is a round, hand/palm-shaped stone shown on picture 1 – “The palm of God”. You can judge of its size by the person lying underneath. The stone is processed the two long sides are whittle away/cut and parallel to each other. They are in north-south direction. The recess is also cut/whittle away as well as oblique back part. The mass stone is mount this is not its original position. There was a sense of stillness while I was lying the megalith in spite of the fact that there were over two hundred tones “hanging” over me. I felt similar sensation when I was sitting under a wooden pyramid. As though my entire body was caught in an invisible shell. It is mystery how did the ancient people managed to bring this enormous rock there which weight is over two hundred tons, from where. The maximum hoisting capacity of a modern travelling crane is about a hundred tons.

Picture 2 – “The sacrificial altar”
On picture number 2 you can see a flat stone surrounded on three sides. It is certainly a sacrificial place. “The sacrificial altar” is big enough for an ox to fit in. The central stone is a hundred and twenty centimeters high. The surfaces are cut. The three surrounding stones are in their natural condition, they are not processed. They all had been put there in this order by the ancient builders.
Picture 3 shows a narrow slit six meters in high and fifty centimeters wide. It is definitely manufactured. I could not understand if the slit is cut through one enormous block or these are two rocks with evenly shaped sides. “The solar slit” is orientated in east-west direction. It probably has astronomical purpose. May be it was used by the priests to maintain the calendar. If you squeeze through in-between the rocks and put your ear on the wall you can hear your own hearth beat intensified because of resonance.
There are series of slices shown on picture 4, side by side. They are flat sided and different size. It looked like storage for stones ready to be used for construction. These slices have been left like this for millennia. Some unknown for us event prevented the completion of the sanctuary.

Picture 5 – “The dismantled block”
You can see on picture 5 a dismantled block. The striking facts here are the sharp edges and the perfectly plat surfaces. At the highest part of the block there are easily noticeable traces of drill about 80 cm deep. The block is taken apart by the ignition of explosive substance. The splitting took place about 50 years ago. They did that by reasons unknown. Thanks God they didn’t split the other stones.

Picture 6 – “Beglik Tash”
Picture 6 shows the general appearance of megalithic complex “Beglik Tash”.
I would like to conclude by drawing attention to the uniqueness of this sanctuary. There is nothing like it in Bulgaria or on the Balkan Peninsula. Archaeologists have been examining the place since the year 2003. With all respect to their work I would like to express my opinion. In order to answer the questions about this sanctuary we need a team of archaeologists, astronomers, geologists, civil engineers, and why not people with extra sensory perceptions.
